Seven hundred years later 3Eve flew around into the city, casting the blue light of her LITE around the city. Ever since the spaceship had dropped her off, by then an hour ago, she had been scanning the environment she was supposed to scan for life forms – most notably vegetable life. She came across odd structures as she went – tall towers, odd metal objects in various formats, several broken bots in the streets... and she took no notice of them, nor of the neat stacks of compressed garbage or the unruly piles of uncompressed waste.
